It started snowing around Noon and hasn’t quit yet (indeed, it’s been steadily increasing), so far we’ve got about 6-8″ of snow and we’re supposed to get – according to the weather forcast which, this morning, forecast only 3″ overall for today – another 2-3″ of snow. [...]

I’ve got to go in to cover a co-worker’s shift tonight as he’s moving this weekend. The good news is that I’m off at 02h00 instead of my usual 04h00. And I don’t have to work tomorrow.

It’s *pouring* rain here tonight and as of the last update of the Weather Network website they’re still expecting another half-inch of rain to fall. Ugh. The yard is absolutely swimming right now and driving home was, to say the least, a nightmare.

When I was coming home from work tonight (I get home around 04h00 AM) I passed by a young fellow who was hitch-hiking on the side of the road – he was travelling in the same direction that I was travelling. He looked like he was half frozen to death.
